What you'll do
As Working Student – Surgical Video Analysis at Snke you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI solutions for surgical video analysis. Working closely with our Machine Learning team in Munich, you will help create and curate high-quality, diverse datasets that form the foundation for innovative AI applications improving surgical workflows and processes.
- Prepare high‑quality data for a wide range of AI development workflows
- Come up with innovative ways to annotate surgical videos using existing and open-source foundation models
- Support the design and validation of AI models and contribute to clear, structured documentation
- Assist the ML engineers in their daily operational tasks
- Accompany the full development cycle, from initial concept to final testing
- Utilize annotation and validation tools to ensure data and model quality
What we're looking for
- Background in Computer vision, Informatics, (Bio)medical imaging or a similar field
- Strong interest in medical imaging AI and a passion for driving innovation in the field
- Analytical mindset paired with strong teamwork and communication skills
- Python knowledge and the will to increase your proficiency
- Structured and independent working style with a high level of reliability
- Good command of English in a professional environment
